A “he said; she said” situation was the starting point for this property. He wanted Sangre de Cristo views and she wanted to capture the Jemez vistas. Ultimately, we were able to turn their competing demands into a win/win for everyone. This home really does it all. It captures big views across both mountain ranges. The living room windows take in the Sangres on one side and the Jemez on the other, and we built two spacious portals, opening in each direction.

The homeowners chose us to build their custom home after having previously bought a house we built on spec that they never actually got to live in. A job transfer to another city required them to sell and move, so when they returned to Santa Fe to retire, they reached back out to us. This time, we built from the ground up for them.
